My Palm 505 does not HotSync, Problem: Unable to initiate
HotSync operation because the port is in use by another
application.
How can I locate the application locking up my IR port in
Windows??

The best way but is tedious is to shutdown your background applications one
at a time using either the system tray icons or the task manager. Keep
checking the hotsync after each removal to see the hotsync works.
