Paint not working.

While working with the program Paint I minimized it to the
task bar and when I went to pull it back up it say, "Paint
encountered a problem and needs to close." Then wants me
to report it. I did and now I can't get into paint at all.
Gives me the same error report every now time. I did not
do anything unusual with the program. Does anyone know
what the problem could be? I rely on this program for a
lot and hate to be without it. Thanks in advance
