I have Pagemaker 6.5 files on a CD which I would like to convert to PDF
and HTML format. Is there a freeware program that can do this.

Very much doubt it. Pagemaker 6.5 will, though, as Acrobat Distiller
comes as standard and I think you can also export to HTML.

Yes
Page Maker can export to HTML or PDF... So you do need the orginal PageMaker
file

I doubt it a lot, files of DTP-programs are probably the most complex
document file formats that exist and are usually not publicly described.
You probably heard of the problems with importing MS Word files into other
programs - import filters for proprietary DTP-files are said to be a
hundred times worse to create.

Do you have a link to the freeware Page Maker?

This is definitely NOT a freeware solution - and
may not be a solution - but adobe has an
evaluation copy (30 day limit) of Pagemaker 7.0
here http://www.adobe.com/products/tryadobe/main.jsp

Can it read 6.5 files? I don't know. Worth a try?
(big download ! )
