page file missing or too small

Hi All,

I want to move my win2000 installation from a 40 meg drive to a 120 meg
drive. I cloned the drive with WD's tool set. The only file it would not
copy is the page file. A pagefile.sys file was created on the target drive
but it was zero bytes.

When I try to boot the clone disk, it complains 'page file missing or too
small'. I ack the dialog box and it disappears, only to reappear a few
seconds later. Endless loop. The dialog box does give directions on how
to fix the pagefile, but the fix requires that I be able to get to the
desktop.

Any ideas how can I fix this??

The simplest way is to temporarily install another disk as
a formatted slave disk. This will give you the breathing
space you need to set the correct location for your
paging file.
