Page Cannot be Displayed

All of a sudden I am having a problem accessing some links at
HPshopping.com.
The links are not secure, but every time I try to access the pages, I get
the message "The Page Cannot be Displayed".

I am running XP Pro on a desktop through a DSL network connection. I can
access the particular pages using another desktop computer on the network
(also XP Pro), and also on my Laptop (98SE). Therefore, I am assuming that
it is not the network, but is the computer.

My XP firewall is turned off on both XP computers.
The DSL modem is doing NAT, no firewall functions.

I have run a virus scan, comes out clean.
I have run adaware, comes out clean.
I have deleated all temp files and cookies.
I am not using a Proxy server.

I still cannot access the pages from this computer.
Any ideas?

A follow up on my efforts.
I did ipconfig /flushdns. No change.
I renamed Hosts file to Old Hosts, cleared cookies, history, temp files. No
change.
I checked the databasepath=%systemroot%\system32\drivers\etc in registry
key (HkeyLocalMachine....TCPIP\Par.....
OK

Not sure what else to do.
This is only affecting certain web pages that I am aware of. Very
frustrating since I need access to them.
Other pages are not affected.
Any help would be appreciated. I really do not want to have to format and
reinstall XP.

Thanks,
TxPres

Have you been blocking cookies with the Privacy tab in Internet Options?

If so, I suggest you click on the "Edit" button in the Web Sites area.
This will bring up the "Per Site Privacy Actions" window.
See if the sites you are trying to reach have been listed in the
"Managed Web Sites" list with the setting to "Block".
If so, you will want to remove them from that list, or change the setting to "Allow".

Thanks, but that is not the problem.
Guess I will reinstall WinXP.
