Recently my computer has been overheating, Well, Im pretty sure its overheating. The company i bought the computer from are pathetic to begin with, So no suggestions of calling them. Whenever i run any games, Only high powered games (eg, Call of Duty 4, Battlefield 2, Counterstrike Source, Team Fortress 2) The whole computer will turn off about 15-30 mins into playing one of these games. My old case had just 1 80mm fan (blowing air into the computer). I have Just (Yesterday) Got a new case. i have a 220mm Fan on the side (blowing air in) and a 120mm on the back (also blowing air in) and one 120mm fan on the front (blowing air out).

My System Specs:

AS Rock Motherboard
Amd Athlon 4600+ Duel Core. 2.41GhZ
2Gb DDR2 Ram
Nvidia Geforce 8600 GT

A good CPU Heatsink & Fan will help + plenty of airflow through the PC.:thumb:
May be a case of re-setting the heat cut off within the BIOS.

I find that my PC is cooler if it's on it's side!
That and 2 fans sucking air on to the motherboard.

No! No! In at the side> In at the front>out at the back. ;)
