Outlook security question

Hi, we have an in house software installed at a client that behaves
differently from in our company. For example, this software uses mapi
and cdo to check if a contact exists in the address book. At our
clients, they have similar software version but both of us work with
Outlook 2003 and Exchange 2003. We do not get the problem but they do:

1) They get 4x a security access message stating an application is
trying to access outlook address book
2) Then they get a message stating someone is trying to send an email
as themselves...

I've tried installing Advanced Outlook Security from MapiLab but it
doesn't work. I changes nothing at all in fact.... If anyone know how
to solve this please let me know, we have the same setup but it doesn't
do it here ...

See http://www.outlookcode.com/d/sec.htm for your options with regard to the "object model guard" security in Outlook 2000 SP2 and later versions. The client may have other security settings than you. Did you ask them what Help | About Microsoft Outlook says?

The ideal solution may be to rewrite your software with Redemption to avoid the prompts completely.
