Outlook refuses to save password...

I'm using two 2 POP3 accounts with Outlook and no matter what I do Outlook
simply refuses to save my passwords for those accounts, I've tried checking
save passwords and looked through settings but I just cant for the life of
me find way to make it save my passwords. And it's really annoying having
to write them again every I open Outlook since I don't know them by heart
(very complicated passwords). Anyone got any idea what to do? I have Norton
Personal Firewall and Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition if any of those
could be the problem...

Outlook Express keeps prompting for your password - Repair
http://www.dougknox.com/xp/tips/xp_oe_passwords.htm

This fix also applies to Outlook, other programs that store passwords
in the Protected Storage System Provider sub-branch of the Registry.
It also corrects some issues with Internet Explorer and AutoComplete.
