Outlook processes

Outlook 2003. I notice that after I have started and exited Outlook over the
course of the day that there are many Outlook .EXE processes still running in
my task manager. I am having priting problems from Wordperfect whenever
there are too many of these. If I delete all the Outlook processes then my
printing problem goes away. Why do these Outlook processes not terminate on
their own? any patch or remedy I can apply on my own other tnah manually
deleting?

The most common cause of Outlook failing to close down properly (instances in
the task manager) are:

FAX software
AV integration with Outlook
Anti-SPAM software
Synchronization software (for use with a PDA for example)
Add Ins or COMs
