Outlook not opening .pdf files, uses Windows Media Player

When I double click on a .pdf attachment Outlook tries to open it in Windows
Media Player. How do I get rid of this command?

When you save the PDF to your desktop, does Windows try to open it with
Windows Media Player? If so, this isn't an Outlook problem. You can
reassociated the PDF file with Adobe Reader using Windows Explorer. Tools >
Folder Options > File types.

No. When I save the attachment to a file, or to the desktop it opens with a
double click as it should. But when attached to an email it always attempts
to open with Windows Media Player. Any suggestions?

You can reassociated the PDF file with Adobe Reader using Windows Explorer.
Tools > Folder Options > File types.
