I can send mail out of my outlook, I set up the connector, but I cannot
receive mail to Outlook even if I send/receive. If I log in to hotmail
through the internet I do have new messages, but not in the Outlook

Exactly what DOES happen when you perform a Send/Receive? What version of
Outlook?

The same thing is happening to me. I have Outlook 2007. I can send email
through Outlook, I just cannot receive email.

Were any of you trying to import folders from another email account? That
seemed to be my problem. I recreated the folders manually via
www.hotmail.com and now everythign works.

Outlook doesn't allow importing folders from "an account" anyway.

Hey Krystal,

Did you ever figure out how to fix this problem? I have the same problem now
too.

Initially established Outlook 2003 to download hotmail accounts and it worked
great.
Existing folders in Hotmail account were created in Outlook.

Not sure I understand how you were "recreating folders manually." Hundreds
of e-mails are involved. Yes, need to clean up.
Many newsletters, etc. were put in Junk e-mail by Outlook- not in Hotmail-
and then I would transfer them all to Inbox for that address in Outlook.

Newest Hotmail emails since Sunday are not being downloaded into Outlook at
all.
