outlook express

cannot start Outlook Express

have following messages:
Outlook Express could not be started.The application
could not opent the Outlook Express message store.Your
computer may be out of memory or your disk is full.
Contact microsoft for further assistance (0x8007000E,5)

Outlook Express could not be started because MSOE.DLL
could not be initialized.Outlook Express may not be
installed correctly

have reinstalled IE which contains Outlook Express

would appreciate advice - microsoft has advised me that
my free help has expired

Is MS Outlook or Office also installed?

Hi Ron,

From recent experience: Do a Search for .dbx, right click an entry and
choose: Open Containing Folder.

Once there copy everything found and paste it to the original store (which
should now be empty). If still no go, go to Start/Run/Regedit and change
the path here:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Identities\{Guid}\Software\Microsoft\Outlook Express\5.0 -
REG_EXPAND_SZ - Store Root.

Once the new message store location is created, copied all of the .dbx
files. Then open OE.
