Outlook Email Notification: "You've Got Mail." WHERE? CHANGE?

I've got a new version of Office XP Media and when using Outlook I have a
"You've Got Mail." Voice Message Alert when a new email arrives (sim to the
AOL classic notification.) It's a male voice. It even 'counts' how many
emails have come in. (i.e., "You've got three emals.")

I am looking to change/modifiy this notification but can find NO references
to it in any Help at all. I've checked the other programs that came bundled
with the new PC and XP but the Alert isn't in those either.

Any thoughts? Thanks! -nkeg

Toshiba by chance? If so, there should be a control panel applet for
something like "Toshiba Voice" where you can control it.

Thanks! YES it is a new Toshiba QOSMIO. Do you know more? :)

So, did you look in Control Panel? Also look in Outlook's Tools>Options for
an add-on tab that controls it. I don't recall exactly where the control
is.

Found it! It's under ALL PROGRAMS/TOSHIBA/SPEECH SYSTEM.
It comes bundled with the PC. It's ok. You can use it as an email reader
or just notifications. Would be better if there were more voice options to
use. Thank you for helping me out tho! Have a great day! -nkeg (Central
