One of my email accounts has stopped receiving email
"(0x800ccc0F) the connection to the server was interrupted) "
, I have recreated the email account to no avail and I have been advised to try detect and repair, but when i do that i get the error
"This patch package could not be opened. Verify that the patch package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer patch package "
Microsoft support suggest that the registry may need to be fixed, but it seems to imply that i have to remove a program. Obviously i am concerned that i don't want to lose anything and given that my other pop3 email accounts are working i wonder is there something i am missing. Any support welcome. XP and Outlook 2003 (11.6568.8107) sp2
