Outlook Browse for Hyperlink File

I've upgraded to Exchange 2003 and installed outlook 2003 on all users
desktops. A few users asked why they can't browse for a file to insert as an
hyperlink. I checked around and look under options and noticed that the
options
Use Microsoft Office Word 2003 to edit emails and Use Microsoft Office Word
2003 to read rtf emails was greyed out. Both users have Office XP on there
desk is there way to make this work?

TIA

Nope, the version of Outlook and Word must be the same for this to work.
