Outlook automatically deletes messages

When I sign in, or hit send/receive, most of my new messages go straight to
the deleted folder. I cannot move them back to the inbox. I see no rules in
my rules wizard, and have no setting in my junk email options that tells
outlook to do this. I am missing messages. Please help!

2003 - hotmail account. It doesn't happen inside of hotmail when I use an
internet browser.

Have you tried it already with the Junk E-mail Filter turned of completely?
Do you have any addresses configured in your safe/blocked lists?
Note that rules don't affect HTTP accounts
Are you using any additional (third party) mail scanning tools like
anti-virus or anti-spam that integrate with Outlook?

If that doesn't solve it try it with a clean mailprofile;
