outlook 98???

Outlook 98 is no longer available as a download from Microsoft. In order to
use that "upgrade" version of Office 2000, you will need to find a previous
version of Office/Outlook on CD.

And before you say they have a full version of OL98, that isn't true as it
is trying to download components from Microsoft. The CD version that MS
offered for a short time doesn't connect to MS servers. Heck, I don't even
know if you could find an old Outlook 98 book that includes the Outlook 98
CD.

Is there somewhere I can get an answer to OL98?
Here's the problem and hopefully someone can re-direct or offer a fix.

WinXP(home). wireless internet access, 1.8ghz with 1meg ram.
Our local Historical Society has an older machine they do small Excel SS and
use Word for correspondence. The HD went out so replaced. Started reloading
programs with no problems.
They have a upgrade version of Office 2k. In order to load it you have to
have something to upgrade from. They also have an old full version of OL98.
They would load OL98 and then Office2k would load fine.
Can't get OL98 to load. Get error msg that reads;
""Setup was unable to download all the required components for this
installation. The internet is likely busy. Please try setup again later and
select Smart Recovery to continue Downloading.""

Not sure what to do.
Any help or redirect would be helpful

Thanks to both. I'll check and see if they or someone else has a O97 cd. I'm
surprised they don't have one in their museum. :)
