your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

The last line says,

No transport provider was available for delivery to this recipient.

I can set up her account in outlook express and everything works fine. BUT,
she really wants to use Outlook.

If you have an ISP that requires authentication to the outgoing (SMTP)
server, you cannot use Outlook 97 to send mail because it is incapable of
performing that authentication.

Brian,

I have this same problem but I am running Win XP Home Edition. Can we set
it up to do remote mail or anything to make this work?

I don't know of any way to use Outlook 97 for this. Outlook 98 was the
first version supporting outgoing authentication.

Since it's not the same problem, a solution to the original problem would
have no bearing on your problem.

I'd start with a new mail profile.
