Outlook 2k-without Msn Explorer

Once poisoned by MSN Explorer and Now you have setup your email using
msn.com ip & the.net_passport-MSN/Hotmail service thing...... is there a
way to recover to regular IE 6.0, & Outlook 2000 email system using
pop3.email.msn.com server?

i no longer use MSN Explorer. I log_on now using a simple DUN connection
to msn.com & my OS is Win98.
I was told not to un_install Msn Explorer cause it would not help & may
actually cause me problems, elsewhere.

I have got OE 6.0 to work with msn/Hotmail email thru the http-redirect
protocol set-up, however Outlook 2k does not offer a HTTP option (only
Pop3 & MAPI).

Please someone explain how to recover & install Outlook 2k which is part
of my Office 2k package.

if you ever accessed your email using the web interface, you can't go back
to pop/SMTP. you'll need to use oe or upgrade to outlook 2002/2003

As you discovered, Outlook 2000 does not support http mail. Once you
converted to the new MSN mail, all of your mail is now http based and
therefore undeliverable to Outlook 2000.

Swen virus, all e-mails sent to my actual account will be deleted w/out
reading.
