Outlook 2007 Mail Problem

Michael Merritt

I am unable to access my email using Outlook 2007; I keep recieving the
message:

Folder:Inbox Synchronizing headers. 'reported error (0x80040604) : 'A folder
by this name already exists.'

I am using Windows Vista Home Premium, and had installed the available
updates many days prior to this issue. I am unaware of any changes I have
made to my system that could have resulted in this and have no idea what to
do in attempts to resolve this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes I have had it working in the past and I am using several accounts in my
Outlook. The account that I am having trouble with is my Hotmail account.

Have you ever gotten it to work?
What mail account type are you using?

Remove the account from Outlook, restart Outlook and then add the account
again.
