a folder by this name already exists.

It seems that once every week I have to delete my hotmail account in Outlook
2007 (12.0.6023.5000) because I get the repeated error message "Folder:Inbox
Synchronizing headers.' reported an error (0x80040604) : 'A folder by this
name already exists.'
I read the KB article on how you can't create a subfolder etc... but I'm not
trying to do that. I delete the account in Outlook, and then create the
account again and simply send/receive and eventually get this error message.
I also don't see my new mail once I do start getting this message (headers
aren't synchronizing).

Is there any resolution to this?

I am having this precise problem as well - I got excited when both my
Gmail accounts had IMAP enabled in them, and Outlook can't seem to
synchronize them, either, which makes Outlook a much less useful solution
than it used to be. This is getting frustrating.
It works fine in Outlook 2003 at work, however.
