Outlook 2007 glitch

Good Morning, I love this product (and have for years) but I have noticed a
glitch. When I go to launch a new message a white 2 inch horizontal bar
appears across the top of the new message bar and I am not able to type a
message... is there a patch for this?

What's a "new message bar"? Where in the compose window does this white bar
appear? Can you post a link to a screen shot?
