I am running Outlook 2007 on a Toshiba laptop running Windows XP. Although
it transferred all my contacts, files, settings and messages from Outlook
2003 very satisfactorily it has one glitch which I can’t seem to resolve. I
wonder if you can help.
Although the settings instruct it to do so, when new messages arrive in
Outlook 2007 they don’t show up immediately in the inbox (without going to
another folder first and then returning to it), no sound is made, no envelope
icon appears in the task bar, and no new mail alert shows up. In fact, the
only way I know there is a new message is that it indicates it against the
Inbox line in my Favourite Folders. Without that I would have no idea
whatsoever. Can you help?
Thanks
