I have a desk top pc that has Outlook 2002 and just purchased a lap top with
Outlook 2003. I would like to switch the two programs. Put the 2003 on my
desk top and the 2002 on the laptop. Can I do this.

If Outlook 2003 came with the laptop or Outlook 2002 came with the desktop,
then likely the licenses are OEM licenses, which means that, legally, they
are tied to the machine they came with and can't be transferred. If they
are full retail licenses, then you can either to what you describe or
install Outlook 2003 on both the desktop and the laptop, which is allowed
with a full license.
