Mailbox folder full error message

Cathie Ferdon

I am using a pc with mesia center eddition and a lap top with vista. My
outlook is version 2003. I am connected with a POP and broadband for the lap
top. I share the same mailbox on both computers. I regularly clean up my
mailboxes. I keep getting a child status 100 mail folder full. I am not sure
but is it because I am using the same IP address for both, does the mail
folder count the total size of both the lap top and desk top mailfolders as
the total allowance? I hope I am making myself clear. I just can't understand
why I keep getting this message otherwise. I archive my emails regularly. The
total size for the PC is 16019 kb and the lap top is 1547 kb.

When are you getting this error? It sounds like you're leaving a copy of
the message on the server and currently your folders on the server are full.

Who is the message coming from?
Can you include the entire message for us to see?

I am wondering if perhaps you are leaving your
messages on the main system, and it is a message
about your ISP mailbox or Exchange Server system
message.

Cathie Ferdon,
1. Check you mail accounts through the ISP's webmail interface, and see if
you have reached your quota for mail messages. If you have, you need to
delete messages from your mail account, through the webmail interface.

2. On one of you computers, do you have the mail account set to delete
messages from the server after XX days?
When you say you clean up your mailboxes, if you are just deleting messages
from you OUTLOOK folders, it will not delete them from your server folders.
This is why you need to have one of your Outlook applications, set to delete
the messages after XX days.
