Outlook 2003 search folders not working

I have used search folders for a year or so now. I have a folder which
finds all my emails received in the last 7 days.This has been working
successfully.

However, when I returned from holiday I changed the criteria to emails
received in the last month for awhile.

I have now changed it back to "last 7 days" but it has stopped working.
Specifically, it will only find emails for the current day if I
customise the search criteria away from "last 7 days" and then back
again!

Any ideas?
