Outlook 2003 displays at opening 14 error messages then it works

Outlook 2003 at opening displays 14 error messages:"The extension
configuration file C:\Program files\Microsoft\Office\Office11\ADDINS\....
could not be installed."
Clicking 14 times makes accee possible after the display " Installing now".
No further action follows.

its looking for addins - find and delete extend.dat and see if it fixes it.
