I have two users on my network, that during the day switch to "work
offline". They claim that they are not doing anything to change their
status to work offline. When they uncheck their work offline option, they
recieve a pop-up request for username and password from the exchange server.
If the user logs off and logs back on. Outlook opens in work offline mode.
At this point if the uncheck work offline, they immediately go to online and
their mail folders synchronize. Both users are using cached mode (as is our
whole office). So far these are the only two of 30 Office 2003 users with
this issue.
Why would they need to log off and back on? They are both using Windows XP
Prof. The AD is Windows 2003 and the Exchange Server is Exchange 2003.
Any ideas what is going on?
Thanks
