Outlook 2002/2003 unable to send

Cannot send with either GMail or Yahoo accounts. The error I am getting
is:

0x8004210B: The operation timed out waiting for a response from the
sending
(SMTP) server.

Outgoing server set up correctly, ports also set up correctly.

We crashed the computer and reinstalled Professional, prior version of
Outlook worked fine.

I am connected via wireless network. Someone told me to bypass routers, but
I don't know how to do that. I tried to download an MS update but it kept
telling me that the product didn't match. I don't understand!

If you're on a wireless network you can't bypass routers. The wireless
access point itself is likely a router.

Why not describe EXACLTY what you're doing and EXACTLY where the error
occurs and EXACTLY what it says.
