outlook 2000 signature picker cannot find signature

After upgrading to a new computer and from Windows NT to Windows XP but still
using Microsoft Office 2000. In Outlook 2000 I went to Tools, Options, Mail
Format, and Signature Picker. The signatures are no longer there. Okay,
wanted to add new ones but when I tried to give the new signature the same
name as previous I recieved an error message "The signature "filename"
already exist. Choose another name".

I checked the hard drive and found no signatures saved as the filename I was
trying to create.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Make sure you include hidden files/folders as well.

Roady,
Thank you for the response. I did make sure to include the hidden
files/folders. This is why I am so puzzled as to why Outlook still thinks
there is a signature by the name. Any other ideas?

By default signatures are kept here;
C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Application Data\Microsoft\Signatures

You might need to translate "Signatures" to your localized version.
