Outlook 2000 Recall Message Function

It appears the email recall function in Outlook 2000 does
not work properly? When you select to recall a message it
just 'parks' the recall message' email in front of the
original email in the recipients outlook and they are
still able to read the original message? Did this not use
to instantly recall the messages in previous versions of
Outlook? .....in other words, INSTANTLY remove the email
(you have requested to recall) from the recipients mailbox?

What are you talking about?! I've used it numerous times. I'll grant you,
it's stupid, but it does work.

(Stupid because the recipient has to have Outlook open for the recall to
work. What kind of sense does that make? The message is on the
server...what does it matter if the client is open? Hell, if the client is
open, they've probably already read the message by the time I realize I want
it recalled and then jump through all the hoops to recall it.)

Due to the Swen virus, all e-mails sent to this account will be deleted
w/out reading.
