Outlook 2000 Email Read errors

I keep getting the following error messages whenever I
open my email inbox. I have a Win98SE and am using DSL
for email. My email works fine with Internet Explore and
used to work okay with Outlook until about 3 weeks ago.
I've used the Inbox Detect & Repair 3 times & have
searched the FAQ areas but to no avail. Nothing works.
I've changed no settings that I can find in Outlook that
would make the messages stop coming through. Here are the
Error Messages:
"1 message couldn't be retrieved from the server. This
usually happens when the connection to the server is lost
due to server or network problems. If the problem
persists, contact your administrator."

" A TCP/IP error occurred while trying to send data to the
server (Account: 'Mail Account; POP3 server:'
popearthlink.net', error # 0x800ccc13)."

Any suggestions or help out there?

the correct server for earthlink is pop.earthlink.net, not
popearthlink.net.
