OU structure

Hello-

I am trying to create an OU structure within AD, I have a
small network (in testing stage now) no more than 100
users. I would like to use Group Policy eventually and I
know that Ou's are the smallest unit you can apply them
to. Maybe I am getting them confused, but I was wondering
about groups vs. OU's. Do you use them together or one or
the other? My NT network of course you have groups. I am
just at the beginning stages of this area and trying to
read up. I thank you in advance for any advice.

You use them together. OUs are for logically organzing your users &
computers in the active directory. You link GPOs to OUs. Groups are good for
ACLs - if you make a group called Accounting, and then make a shared folder
for accounting, you can simple give the Account group rights, rather than
all the accountants (as you've made the accountants members of accounting).
