OU structure

I didn't ask the question in last post...and it may ba
stupid one...so would you create your groups within your
OU's? since they are not a user or computer would you
create them out side of the OU? Thanks again

You can still create them in an OU if you want (for
instance if you have an OU that you have delegated to the
helpdesk staff, and you want them to be able to manage
groups within this OU) but group policy obviously won't
apply directly to these groups.

You have to put them somewhere is the short answer.

I usually create a top level OU called Groups, and then put deeper
organization OUs for different groups in there. I never apply policy of any
sort to the Groups OU, and mark it do not inherit GP so it doesn't get
domain level GP applied.
