[OT] Video with .rm extension

Hi,

The following may be a bit off-topic question:

Yesterday, I downloaded a video clip that has a .rm extension. Can anyone
please tell me if Windows Media Player will support this on a Win2kX/XP
platform? If not, what program/utilities will recognize this .rm extension?

Thanks.

Thanks for the information. I downloaded/installed the Real Alternative on
my 2.4GHz Celeron. The software ate up 90% of the CPU with a blank video for
more than 3 minutes that I had to kill the program. Can anyone please tell
me what did I do wrong?

You probably didn't do anything wrong.

I've given Real Alternative a try and it is simply no good - yet.
Check back in six months and see if it has gotten any better.

I admire the effort put into developing RA, but it simply
isn't close to being ready for prime time yet. Kind of
like OE and IE.
