bummer. I had created two files of that image in photoshop, one standard and one progressive ...wanted to see if that was destroying the image. My money is on the progressive saved jpg is getting messed up somehow.

|
| | Thomas,
|
| I'm coming in late on this one. Can I actually test something on the offending page? (without
| paying?
|
| Rob
|
|
| | Wally and everyone else, I can fix the photo so that it display on the web correctly, seen by the
| | last example on the page, however that is not the solutions to this issue.
| |
| | The issue is that I have a client's site where users can post Ads to sell their creations. With
| | their Ads they can upload a photo after they have paid the fee. This is a completely automated
| | process. I do not want to have to got in and correct photos that don't display. The bottom-line is
| | that user has paid their money, and their photo doesn't appear, it is not a server issue,
| connection
| | issue or anyway related to how the image is being uploaded, it is how the image was originally
| saved
| | from PhotoShop.
| |
| | I do not own PhotoShop or any of it's offsprings.
| |
| | However, I do need to write instructions that tell these users what settings NOT to use when
| saving
| | their photos before uploading them. It is my understanding that most of these users are not web
| | smart, but do use PhotoShop either on the PC or MAC.
