Opening attachments.

When I try to open some attachments ( DOC file?) I get a pop up saying;

"This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this
action.Create an association in the Set Associations control panel"

Can anybody help

Do you have Word installed? If not.....

Are you able to open those attachments by first saving them, and then
opening outside of Windows Mail? If yes, apply this fix:
