I can't explore it 'cause when I put it in the reader nothing happens, if I
go in "computer" (I have windows vista) it's like there's no cd, there isn't
its name, it's not recognized, if it's a cd, if it's a dvd I have no problem
I have read in here that CD/DVD reader/writer/re-writers have TWO laser
assemblies -- one for CDs and one for DVDs. Since the DVD laser seems to be
working properly, perhaps the CD laser has gone bad or needs cleaning. You
could try a CD/DVD cleaner.

If it is still under warranty, return it. If it is out of warranty, try a
cleaner, or purchase and install a new drive.
