Got a new computer with vista. Can't seem to run my old games. Is there
anything I can do to install them they are 32bit and computer is 64bit what
ever that means.Sorry but I just like to play them not a computer whiz so if
possible to do make it in plain and I mean plain and as simple as you can get
so I can enjoy my games once again. Thank You

Susan, suggest you repost to the group that specialises in Vista games,
microsoft.public.windows.vista.games - this one is for XP. Also, it would
help them if you include the names of these games and what happens when you
try to install them - you know, give them something to go on...

Vista 64bit will run 32bit applications.

Problem is I don't know which computer you have or even which game you're
trying to run.

Try a google search for the game name "in Vista x64"

If you want it as simple as possible, here's what you do, pull out the
game manual and follow the installation instructions. If at any point it
fails or doesn't do what it should, then respond here. Include what
happened, when it happened, and what make/model computer you're using.

If your game uses a 16-bit installer you might be SOL (Shit outta Luck),
but most games should be fine.

You may not be a computer whiz, but ya know something, you shouldn't be.
There are more interesting things to fill your mind with than how to
setup and install video games. I personally wish I could perform heart
transplants, but ya know, I'm not a medical whiz.
