.oft template with signatures

Hello all,

I am working with Office2000 and got the following problem:

For my colleagues I need to create an email template which
they can use continuously but with their own signature.

My initial approach was as follows:
- Create a message and save it as an oft-Template file
- Send this file to the colleagues
- They drop the file into an Outlook folder of their choice

The problem now is that when they open the template it
does not pull their signature to be added at the bottom.
Is there any work-around or maybe a better solution in
general?

Thx in advance and have a great weekend,
Thore

See http://www.outlookcode.com/codedetail.aspx?id=162 for a possible
workaround. Another would be for the user to insert their signature into the
item created from the form, then save a new .oft file or (better yet)
publish the form.

FYI, there is a separate newsgroup for Outlook forms issues --
microsoft.public.outlook.program_forms.

Thanks for the feedback.
Since I was looking for a simple solution without using
HTML-Emails I think I will have to go with individual .oft
files.
Have a great weekend,
Thore
