OFT Template Issue

T

Template

Ever since upgrading our users to Office XP, their
template selection configuration has changed drastically.

The Microsoft Outlook feature used to allow us to:

· Open an Internet Lead

· Select "reply"

· Select "tools"

· Select "Templates"

· Then select the appropriate response template

· Edit the template

· Then send

With Office XP, this has gone away, and the users must
select tools, forms, and navigate to the OFT template
directory. And if using Word as the email editor, you get
no OFT options.

In short, we have lost major functionality/productivity
with using templates.

Any suggestions?

IIRC, Outlook by itself has never had any functionality that allows you to
choose an .oft template file for a reply, so I'm a little baffled. What
version of Outlook did you upgrade from? Did you have an add-in or other
program that did this?
