Offline folders workaround for WinXP Home?

S

My desktop at school runs XP Pro, my notebook runs XP
Home. After trying to set up "Offline Files" on the
notebook, I found the Home edition does not have the same
functionality as Pro. I'd prefer not to use Briefcase as
I cannot automatically sync entire folders.

Other than the "obvious" workaround of just putting the
source files on the notebook and setting the desktop to
use the Offline Folders, are there any
downloads/patches/etc that will extend my XP Home
functionality in this respect?

TIA,
Stu

There are third-party programs whose users swear by them (and swear AT
offline files!)--but I don't have names at the tip of my tongue--hopefully
lanwench will happen by.

Check out SecondCopy 2000 from www.centered.com - and yes, I have been known
to use some rather unladylike language when dealing with Offline Files. :)

It's getting very difficult now that phone booths aren't really booths
anymore. Sometimes you just have to find a quiet spot behind a dumpster in
an alley and pray the muggers aren't making the rounds.
