Offline Files & XP Home

Hi,

I am trying to use Offline Files on a pc running Win XP Home however it
doesnt appear to exist.

The Help & Support section tells me it can be done and describes how to set
it up. I have also found a number of KB articles refering to Offline Files
and they state the related software as being XP Home aswell as XP Pro.
However, the article titled 'How to set up offline files' refers to XP Pro
only.

So am I missing something? Is it possible to do (without using briefcase)?
If so, how?

Offline files is Professional feature. It is not available on Home Edition.

Hi John,

Thanks for you reply. I suspected this was going to be the case.
Do you know why the feature is documented in the 'Help & Support' section in
Home Edition?
Are there any alternatives similar to offline files, other than briefcase,
that can be installed on Home Ed?
