Including *.pst files for Offline Files

When I attempt to make files or folders available offline for mobile
notebook users using Windows XP Pro, I get the following error message
"Files of this type cannot be made available offline". I have enabled the
exclude list of files and left the field blank "Computer
Configuration\Administrative Templates\Network\Offline Files\Files not
cached". I logged off and on again for the changes to take affect but it
doesn't seem to work, I still get the same error message when I synchronize
offline files.

I have another notebook setup exactly the same and it works fine. The
notebooks are both IBM ThinkPad's

Any help on this problem will be greatly appreciated
