However every time I start Word / Excel it brings me the licence aggreement

SYMPTOMS
Every time that you start a Microsoft Office program, such as Microsoft Office Word, the End
User License Agreement dialog box appears. If you click I Accept, the End User License
Agreement dialog box disappears and then reappears. If you click I Accept again, the End User
License Agreement dialog box disappears, and the Office program functions as expected.

One way would be to install OpenOffice.org.

Thank you for all your help. I also found the following:

HKEY_Lokal_Machine\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\registration
and click the folder with the Letters and Numbers.
Change the following key
Eula Value 1
EulaDis Value 0

Thanks GavinP. That did the trick for me. New Gateway laptop with Vista
Home Premium and Office 2003 Professional.
