OAB

My customer runs Exchange 2007 with the clients running Outlook 2003 over
Windows XP. All the PCs are fully patched for OS and App updates.

All users are running in Cached Exchange Mode.

Many users are reporting that they can no longer see some of the other
staffs entries in the address list. Only by removing the OAB files and
reloading Outlook are the user addreses returned to the new OAB files.

We have had to repeat this step for some users several times over a couple
of months now.

What is the cause and what is the resolution. Please help.

Regards

Garry.

Only thing I can think to try is the OABInteg tool to see if you can isolate
why the client's OAB isn't being kept up to date (e.g. failing a dowloand,
problems w/ active directory, .etc)

All you have to do is to get the autodiscover url by pressing ctrl and right
click on the outlook icon and chose test you will know if there is something
wrong. also you could get the autodiscover url from the exchange server and
try to access this url from the client using IE.
