NTLDR Gone ???

On re-boot this morning my friendly error message was:
NTLDR is Missing, press any key to restart. I've tryed
that and the same message came back. Tryed the F10 trick
no use. Just a black screen with that message over and
over. Who is NTLDR and if I need it where did it go?? Is
there help out there???? Thank you

Hey there,

Ouch! I've had the same problem once and it's a pain.
Without going into to much detail, that file is required by
XP during the boot-up process so it's a very important file
to have. Don't ask what happened to it or why it's
gone...I'd still be looking for mine if I did that.

If you're like me and not worried about reinstalling XP,
that will restore everything back, including this file.
