well if people would update definitions once aday then they
would get the update (wmi) and no problem or just disable
security center alltogether in services.

it stats "You are not welcome her" in big letters
which means they are upset you did get the file on your
system,
and this comressed file is what, a virus, trojan, back
door?

What ever it is, it isn't from Norton and it is not for
NAV2003.
Only NAV2004 products are SP2 Security Center Green.
And the WMI fix for that comes via Liveupdate.

I think most people do just that very thing since
liveupdate is on by default and it wouldn't make much
sense to not keep the AV up to date.
But NAV2003 has yet to get a new gizmo to make the
Security Center aware of the AV Status.
And I am begining to think NAV2003 never will.
It should be obvious why.
