norton antivirus

i've just installed norton antivirus 2004. but each time
i open it, it immediately closes by itself. this same
thing also happens when i open regedit and msconfig.
can anybody help me.

Hi,

If the problem started when NAV was installed, then
uninstall NAV and check to see if all is well with
regedit and msconfig. If yes just reinstall NAV, if not
boot from the NAV CD and scan for viruses. If you need
