I run NAV Corporate and there's a setting in the Control Panel for
"Symantec LiveUpdate" which has a selection of "Interactive" or
"Express Mode", where "Express Mode" loads the updates automatically.

Here's an idea. Why don't you RTFM, STFH or STFW?! This group is for issues
with the Help and Support feature of Windows XP and your question is OT
here.

Miss Perspicacia Tick, Go **** YOURSELF.

If their was a group to post to i would, maybe i thought this was the
next best place to post, read the first line again.

Yep go the icon in control panel, its set to interactive, what i want
realy is to turn it off completely :), i go into Norton Antivirus and
it has an error, has encountered and internal program error ?, but
when i click ok it gos into the options fine, i deselect liveupdate
and all is good, but when i go back it its ticked again, not sure if
its off or not, no live update icon for a while so i think it maybe be
ff for good.

We will see, thanks.

Thanks for the help you HELPFULL people.
